Nursing Reference Center (available through HEAL-WA) has an
app you can download to use with an ipad. HEAL-WA
is restricted access and you must register and use it yourself.
ProQuest - ProQuest is developing a mobile browser to be launched
later in 2012. You can use the existing ProQuest databases from your
mobile browser. The resolution has not been properly set for mobile
browsing, but all of the database search features work
properly.
PubMed®
Mobile Beta provides a simplified mobile friendly Web interface
to access PubMed.
STAT!Ref
Mobile - this provides access to apps and other information to
use STAT!Ref on mobile devices.
Ebscohost the distributor of DynaMed, CINAHL, AMED and Alt-HealthWatch
offers an iphone
app and other information on connecting from mobile
devices These databases are offered through HEAL-WA to select medical
groups. You must access
HEAL-WA yourself to access or download these resources. The
library, however, can provide training to use the HEAL-WA
website and their databases.
HEAL-WA
is a collection of health information resources and databases
funded by selected healthcare providers and
organizations in
Washington State. Only select medical
groups have access to this resource.
