Audios 

The Medical Library has several Audio CDs including the Audio Digests series. This is a great way to keep up to date with the latest in these fields.  Play them in your car on the way to work, or your CD player.  

a.       Emergency Medicine

b.       Emergency Medical Abstracts (2004-March 2010 only)

c.       Internal Medicine (2007-2011 only)

d.       Ophthalmology

 Each series has a handout and an optional test form which can be used to get credit for accreditation.  


 

Videos

The library provides access to some online videos.

Other online videos can be located using a video search engine such as Bioalive, Video.Google.com 


 

DVDs - The library has a few DVDs that users can check out.


 

News

The library subscribes to the Seattle Times  in print.  It can be read in the library.  The Medical Library has access to daily content from several leading online newspapers through ProQuest.  This includes two key collections:

 

Many other newspapers are also available online through the Internet although not all content is free. To find your particular newspaper use a General Search Engine.

Online news can be found through many sources including the following:
